The BERMUDA TRIANGLE: The Strange & Unexplained Mysteries of the Deep
The BERMUDA TRIANGLE: The Strange & Unexplained Mysteries of the DeepThe Bermuda Triangle is a loosely defined area of the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean where numerous aircraft and ships have reported strange occurrences, with some completely vanishing without trace. While some people dismiss the idea that there is something strange happening in the area, it is after all one of the busiest shipping lanes in the world with aircraft regularly flying over it, others remain convinced that a murky secret lurks in the waters of the Bermuda Triangle. As early as the 15th century people were reporting strange activity in the western part of the North Atlantic Ocean. In 1492 Christopher Columbus experienced odd lights and strange compass readings. Despite this, and many other incidents and disappearances in the area over the next few centuries, it wasn’t until the latter half of the twentieth century that the idea of the Bermuda Triangle was firmly established. The writer Vincent Gaddis was one of the first people to define the boundaries of the Bermuda Triangle. In a 1964 edition of Argosy, a pulp magazine, he positioned it’s three points as being in Miami on the Florida peninsula, San Juan in Puerto Rico and the island of Bermuda in the mid-Atlantic. This is the true story of the weird and unexplained events happening within the parameters of the so-called Bermuda Triangle. Many have their theories, but what is really going on in this forgotten corner of the Atlantic?

The Bermuda Quadrangle
It started with Flynn’s Gold, and The Bermuda Quadrangle is the fifth book in the series. It’s another not very serious tale featuring Junior, Earl, and all their friends on Ayers Key. In addition there are some new characters. A huge man called Little Tom, and a pair of identical twin sisters, the Grabowskie sisters, Pansy and Rose. A mystery writer is found shot to death in a second story room that is locked from the inside, and there is no gun in the room. Earl wants to solve the puzzle, and when he’s not working on that he’s interested in “researching” what he sees as the perplexing goings on in the Bermuda Triangle. He believes that it’s not a triangle at all, but more probably a quadrangle that extends down to the Florida Keys. For readers who haven’t read the other books in the series that started with Flynn’s Gold, I am including a little background of the major characters.Junior and Earl, widowers and best friends from the North Carolina Mountains moved to Ayers Key in search of a treasure in gold and silver coins. Earl met and married Ruby who had a rough, alcohol soaked past but has turned her life around. Earl is ever curious and occasionally culture shocked. Junior is laid back and often amused at Earl.Ruby works at The Unloading Zone, a tiki hut bar, grill, and marina owned by Rick who did time for smuggling back in the day. And speaking of back in the day, Mercury Bob and Rembrandt both had colorful pasts. Mercury Bob lives on a small island with Mary, a gun loving mute women, and her Rottweiler, Sugar Cookie. Rembrandt is a talented painter, and with an amazing degree of success he asks pretty women that he meets to pose in the buff for him. Rembrandt’s girlfriend is Laurel, and her personal assistant is Jennifer. They live in Atlanta, but often visit Ayers Key where Jennifer alternates between embarrassing and terrifying Earl.Roger is an intellectual former businessman, and also a reformed drinker. His girlfriend is Susan and her sister, Linda, is Junior’s girlfriend. Seaweed Lamar is a pot smoking, fun loving tarpon guide and his girlfriend is Amanda. I hope you enjoy The Bermuda Quadrangle,Bill North

From unexplainable malfunctions of equipment, to a horrific shark attack, to bizarre paranormal activity, her battered crew struggled against the onslaught on winds and waves that threatened their voyages through those waters.Brace Yourself.Kip's true story will lure you into the midst of hell on water,as dictated by the unforgiving Devil's Triangle. It slowly reels you into her crisis of of being completely helpless and at the mercy of the foaming waters around her and her crew. Why did these things happen to her? Was the Triangle, or something within it, trying to tell her something? How could she ever explain what she saw to someone without them thinking she was crazy! How could she ever trust her gut instincts on those waters again? Would she and her crew survive the journey or would they become another unexplained statistic chalked up to the Bermuda Triangle? This book will slowly grab you with its tentacles of fear and horror until you are on The Solitude yourself!
